The Union of Comoros, commonly known as Comoros, is an African-Arabian island nation located in the northern part of the Mozambique Channel in the Indian Ocean, between Mozambique and Madagascar. Its main territory consists of three volcanic islands: Grande Comore, Mohéli and Anjouan.
